Combined heat and power plants

In the light of steadily increasing energy prices, operation of an independent combined heat and power plant is becoming a more and more attractive option in industry and municipalities. We plan and implement combined heat and power plants that transform primary energy carriers into electricity and heat on site through power-heat cogeneration – an inexpensive, efficient solution that conserves resources.

HNO-Klinik Tübingen (Tübingen Otolaryngology Clinic) reference project: Combined heat and power plant

For the Tübingen otolaryngology clinic, which is located in an ultra-modern building complex, SÜLZLE KOPF Gebäudetechnik installed a combined heat and power plant with the following parameters:

– Two CHP modules, each with an output of 800 kW (electrical)

– Two waste heat exchangers (waste heat usage of the combined heat and power planter plant for hot water production 180°C, max. 30 bar)

– Pressure maintenance of the hot water extraction

– Gas supply of the CHP modules

– Lubricant supply and elimination for the CHP modules

– Heating and cooling water piping

– Acoustic insulation cabins as housing

– Ventilation system to direct the combustion and cooling air to the modules and to conduct the heat away from the acoustic insulation cabins.
